Even when “amicable”, a divorce can be a very stressful time in someone’s life. The process itself can be overwhelming, and Jacobs Polidora, LLC ensures our clients know what to expect from the beginning until the resolution.

If your divorce includes minor children, then we will help with custody, visitation schedules and child support. Additionally, we will assist you in obtaining an equitable portion of the marital property and assets.*

If your divorce does not include minor children, then we will help with property and/or debt allocation. Distributing assets, such as personal property and financial accounts, in an equitable manner can have a significant impact on a person’s life following a divorce.

Unfortunately, for many families a final Order or Decree of Divorce does not prevent new problems or situations from occurring. Ideally the parties can resolve the issues without needing an attorney. However, if necessary, our attorneys assist clients with ongoing post-decree conflicts as they arise.

*In Wyoming, equitable does not necessarily mean equal.
